About The Position

Job Title : EEG Technician

License : Neurodiagnostic Technology Certificate

Certifications : ABRET, BLS, R.EEGT

Must-Have :

• Adult ICU experience
• Experience with electrode placement
• Experience with long-term video monitoring
• Experience with seizure studies
• Experience with sleep-deprived EEG

Description :

The EEG Technician will work a 16-hour schedule one week and a 24-hour schedule the next.

Licenses and certifications are required prior to submission.

Candidates should possess 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Charting system experience with Epic is preferred.

The candidate must be able to operate and calibrate electromyographic equipment according to standard procedures.

Experience in an adult inpatient setting is necessary.

Ability to handle patient ratios effectively is required.

Travel experience is preferred.

Background checks will be conducted prior to submission.

Candidates should be prepared for possible lab work within 3-5 days after signing.

References from the last year are required.

Only one holiday request will be approved during the contract.

Locals may apply but will be accepted at a lower rate.

Candidates should immediately inform if there are any background hits or DUIs.

Modules may be part of the onboarding process, and the average time spent on them can vary by specialty.

All candidates must comply with travel requirements as outlined.

This position requires a dedicated and skilled individual in the field of neuro diagnostics.
