About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Profession : Surgical Services

Specialty : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required

License : South Carolina license preferred; pending license applicants considered with proof of application

Certifications : NBSTSA certification required; BLS certification required

Must-Have :

Experience in Neuro (spines / crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases preferred

Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

Description :

The position involves working as a Certified Surgical Tech in a busy operating room.

The shift is three 12-hour days, including one weekday and weekends.

Flexibility in scheduling is required, including a holiday rotation.

Candidates must have experience in a variety of surgical cases, including Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, Robotics, and Trauma.

Experience in a Level I trauma center is preferred.

The department consists of both Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists.

The role will require handling various surgical specialties with a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Travellers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season.

All RTO requests must be included at the time of submission for consideration.

Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

It is essential that travelers complete compliance in time for the proposed start date.

Candidates must be prepared to accommodate unit needs and be flexible in their roles.
