Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who will play a pivotal role in transforming mental health and addiction recovery care. You will provide essential support by conducting both in-person and telehealth psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment to patients across a range of mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care in both in-person and virtual settings. When providing care via Telehealth you will do so via a secure video platform.
Please Note : This is a hybrid position. You must live in the US or a US territory with a current and valid nursing license in Pennsylvania and be available to provide both in person care at our locations and telehealth care.

Your Role in Transforming Recovery
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients with mental health conditions.Provide medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions as clinically indicated.Offer both in-person and telehealth consultations, utilizing secure video platforms to provide accessible care to patients at other GRC residential sites and to those who may have limited access to in-office appointments in the outpatient setting with the supervision of a psychiatrist.Offer both in-person and telehealth consultations to adolescent patients with the supervision of a psychiatrist.Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services when necessary.Educate patients and their families about psychiatric conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.Adhere to all state, federal, and organizational regulations, including privacy laws related to telehealth services.Requirements :
What is Required of You?
Master’s degree in Nursing.Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP-BC).Active, unrestricted state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of PennsylvaniaAt least 2 years of experience in psychiatry or mental health care.Telehealth experience and proficiency in using secure video platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus!Strong understanding of psychiatric principles and practices.Proficient in conducting psychiatric evaluations and developing comprehensive care plans.Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their appropriate administration.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective telehealth interactions.Ability to adapt to various telehealth platforms and technologies.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.Ability to maintain records in a timely fashion.Ability to coordinate care with the team that may include physicians, therapists, nurses, certified recovery specialists, administration, office staff when necessary.Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds.Ability to provide culturally competent care in both in-person and virtual settings.Additional Requirements
