SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us in Pearl River, LA

$1400 or more per week - And it gets better

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Solo Miles Pay : $0.62 per Mile to $1.35 per mile based on length of trip with 1200 - 1700 Miles per Week

Solo Stops Pay : $24.00 per Stop with 2 - 4 Stops per Day

Per Diem Pay : $50.00 per night with 1 night out per Week possibly

Safety Bonus : Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter

Paid Training

Schedule : 6 - day work week with 1 full day off during the week; Drivers work weekends & holidays

Start Time : Dispatch is between 9 : 00PM - 3 : 00AM

Deliver SOLO To : 500 mile radius of Pearl River, LA

Route : Regional - Home every day except one possible layover per week.

Tractor Type : Day Cab

Trailer Type : 53' Reefer

Equipment : Manual Pallet Jack

Freight : Touch Grocery Items - Driver will assist with unloading at stores; strapping and securing load before leaving each stop

Uniforms and Boot Allowance Provided

Paid Personal Time Off Starts at Day 1 - 80 hours accrued in First Year

DO NOT LOSE Paid Personal Time Policy - We encourage you to use Vacation Time earned. If you decide not to use it - we pay you the remaining balance at your hourly pay rate.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years' experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and / or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer

Performs other duties as assigned
