The Department of Urology at Albany Medical College is growing rapidly and we are recruiting physicians in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery / Urogynecology / URPS. You would join established FPMRS / URPS specialist MDs along with 2 full time dedicated FPMRS / URPS advanced practice providers, strong nursing and administrative support, in a Department of 15 highly collaborative urology faculty.

Department details :

• Accredited Urogynecology fellowship
• Multidisciplinary urogynecology education and clinics; collaborations include pain management, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, colorectal surgery, GI, PMR and pelvic floor physical therapy.
• World class pelvic pain clinic with Neurology and MIS Gynecology
• Excellent clinical facilities with easy patient access and free parking.
• In office ultrasound, fluoro-urodynamics, cystoscopy, laboratory technician
• Immediately adjacent to outpatient surgery center in same building
• Outstanding urology residency - one of the only programs in the country with fellowship trained faculty in every Urologic subspecialty.
• Regular student interactions – rotations are highly rated / valued by our students.
• Multiple opportunities for clinical and basic research, facilitated by three in-house clinical research staff to support the IRB process and research-participant interactions.
• Supported student and resident research rotations.
• Call responsibility : 1 in 10 to 1 in 15.
• Salary range : $325-$500K per year, commensurate with experience and academic rank.
