Financial Aid Counselor

A company is looking for a Financial Aid Counselor to evaluate financial aid applicants and determine eligibility in accordance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct complete and accurate FAFSA reviews and resolve verification issues

Maintain knowledge of Federal Title IV regulations and evaluate unusual circumstances for financial aid adjustments

Analyze reports for compliance, notify students of eligibility changes, and maintain student award packages

Required Qualifications

4-year college degree

Minimum of one year of professional experience in higher education, accounting, business, or customer service

Ability to work with detailed information from various sources

Experience with computerized office systems, including Microsoft Office applications

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple administrative tasks with minimal oversight
