Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Swing Shift Data Server Entry Technician role in Clackamas, OR. Key Responsibilities :

Operate, monitor, and maintain data server equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Assist with the decommissioning, sanitization, and recycling of IT assets, ensuring adherence to industry standards and data security protocols.

Conduct quality checks on server hardware, components, and data wiping processes to ensure compliance with ITAD regulations.

Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in work areas to comply with environmental and data security standards.

Load and unload IT equipment, ensuring proper handling, storage, and accurate inventory tracking.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and address any technical challenges.

Accurately document ITAD processes, including data sanitization, asset tracking, and equipment status.

Participate in routine maintenance and organization of server equipment and facilities to maintain operational standards.

Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, data security concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in IT asset disposition (ITAD) or data center operations is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data security and quality.

Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Knowledge of ITAD regulations, data sanitization standards (e.g., NIST 800-88), or data center operations is a plus, but training will be provided.
