Responsibilities Position is in the Cath Lab of an acute hospital Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 to 17 : 00) Assignment options available for 13 or 26 weeks On-call required one day per week and every 4th / 5th weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning Will float within scope to EP or IR units and possibly to affiliate hospitals as needed Epic EMR experience is required Scrubs are provided for this role Patient care in a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility Responsibilities include Cath Lab nursing and may include supporting EP or IR unit activities Must be willing to float between all facilities within the state as needed Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one year, with a required six month break before any extension or return Must be available to work two out of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Pre-start and annual online modules required for compliance and onboarding Housing availability may be limited, so early arrangements are recommended Only one request for time off is allowed per 13-week assignment, with approval given on an individual basis First time travelers are welcome to apply Requirements Active AK RN license in hand is required for consideration Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab RN experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Epic charting experience required Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility No local candidates will be accepted Former permanent staff must have a minimum three month separation from facility before returning as a traveler Must provide at least two supervisory references from the past three years in a comparable specialty Hep B vaccination required; declinations or titers not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626004.
