About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Therapist

Experience : 2 years required

License : RRT or CRT required

Certifications : ACLS required, BLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Must be available to work all holidays
• No time off approved
• 1st time travelers accepted

Description :

This position involves working in an outpatient center.

The therapist will perform various breathing assessments and tests to assist with treatment plans.

There is no hospital coverage involved.

Primary duties include pulmonary function testing.

The role includes seeing patients with respiratory distress diagnoses such as pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, emphysema, COPD, and lung nodules.

Additional responsibilities include oxygen assessments, 6-minute walk tests, long and short pulmonary function tests, and arterial blood gases.

Required skills include experience in pulmonary function testing labs and knowledge of ARDS, aspiration, bronchoscopy, and interpretation of ABGs.

Basic EKG skills are also preferred.

The dress code includes ceil blue scrubs.
