Laine Recruiting has partnered with a local law firm who has built a 25+ year track record of growth and stability. A small-to-midsized firm for Rochester, they've grown steadily to over 40 employees and pride themselves on providing a flexible and rewarding environment for their team.
They have 1-2 immediate openings in their litigation department. Their litigators are responsible for day-to-day interaction with clients to determine how best to address their litigation needs. This includes being capable of handling civil and commercial litigation as well as matrimonial and family court actions, from start to finish. Trial and courtroom experience are a must.
They are looking for a highly motivated candidate who shows initiative in bringing cases to a successful conclusion, including trial if and when necessary. While oversight and consultation is available and administrative and paralegal resources will be provided, our goal is to find an attorney capable of handling litigation matters from initial pleadings through trial.
Target salary is between $90-130k and there are also merit-based bonuses that can push total compensation into the $105-165k range. Attorneys also enjoy real flexibility in their role. For example, paid time off is not tracked, as attorneys are trusted to manage their schedules appropriately.
