Key Responsibilities
- Security Operations & Monitoring :
- Analyze and prioritize security events and logs.
- Collaborate effectively with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers for optimal threat detection.
- Maintain and enhance Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance :
- Address internal and external audit requests with precision and timeliness.
- Support compliance initiatives, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Sales & Business Enablement :
- Assist in completing security-related sections of RFPs.
- Provide technical security insights for sales and customer assurance.
- Security Architecture & Engineering :
- Design and implement robust security controls across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
- Collaboration & Communication :
- Engage cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, Legal, and Product teams to embed security in all workflows.
- Stay informed on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering roles.Hands-on expertise with SIEM platforms, incident response, and log analysis.Familiarity with MDR services and threat intelligence platforms.Proficient understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards, such as NIST, ISO, and SOC 2.Strong written and verbal communication skills for RFPs and audit documentation.Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.Preferred Qualifications
