Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adult Oncology Admissions : Yes, as required for oncology patients Rounding : Yes, hospital rounding as needed Case Mix : Medical Oncology (consults, admissions, follow-ups, multidisciplinary cancer care) Trauma Level : Level I EMR System : Epic Specialty Backup Available : Multidisciplinary cancer team support Support Staff : Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support Reason for Coverage : New position; launching new Medical Oncology practice Privileges : Full Privileges; Temporary Privileges available Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : 60 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Rate : TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES Provide consultations, admissions, and follow-up oncology care Conduct hospital rounding as needed Collaborate with APPs for consults, follow-ups, orders, and patient management Licenses : Active Illinois license Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology DEA : Active DEA required Certifications : ACLS required; CSR license required Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty Other Qualifications : Ability to coordinate care with multidisciplinary cancer team Provide direct patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up care Conduct hospital rounding as needed Collaborate with in-practice APPs for patient management Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary cancer team
