Job Highlights :

Schedule : PRN as needed

Pay Rate : Starts at $29 / hour with daily pay options available!

Shift Differentials : Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.

Location : SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital

Requirements : Completion of Radiology program and ARRT-R certification within 6 months of hire date.

Relocation assistance is available for qualifying external candidates.

Position Summary : As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform various imaging procedures, ensuring accurate diagnostic results while providing compassionate support to our pediatric patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities :

• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their understanding and comfort.
• Transport patients safely while verifying their identity according to policies.
• Prepare patients for exams by positioning them appropriately.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, minimizing exposure.
• Administer contrast media and medications responsibly.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal findings.
• Submit high-quality images and essential documentation promptly.
• Maintain equipment functionality, reporting malfunctions as needed.
• Keep the radiology department organized and clean.
• Perform limited CT procedures in emergencies, if necessary.
• Demonstrate alertness and a safe working attitude at all times.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
