Clinic Manager

The Clinic Manager provides daily operational leadership for the Clinic.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Accountable for the team-oriented, efficient, financially sound, and quality performance of assigned departments, including strategic planning, budget development, productivity, and quality improvement.
• Provides and maintains effective communication with medical staff, community leaders and organizations, and all levels of management and staff-level employees.
• Participates in a constructive, collaborative manner on internal and external committees and work groups
• Formulates and meets Critical Success Factors each year as part of the Strategic Planning Process.
• Utilizes techniques and skills to accomplish change, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Applies principles of leadership to achieve organizational mission and goals.
• Manages the condition of the equipment, facility, and grounds providing a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Assists in preparing the annual budget for the individual unit based on productivity and utilization of resources.
• Delegates tasks appropriately to ancillary personnel.
• Provides relief and high patient volume coverage for clinic positions in delivery of patient care and services.

Education :

Graduate from a school of nursing, Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelors in Nursing (BSN), or applicable clinical licensure from an accredited institution required.

Experience :

Previous experience in a physician's office practice, emergency room or health department preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.

Licensure / Certification :

Valid Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) license or applicable clinical licensure from an accredited institution required.
