Must have pleted Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Dillon, SC is seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist to support students with behavioral challenges during the current school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success through the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct behavioral assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support positive student behavior
  • Provide direct support and coaching to students exhibiting challenging behaviors
  • Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and provide training or guidance related to behavior management

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Relevant degree or certification in behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or related field
  • Experience working as a Behavior Specialist or similar role within a K-12 school setting
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and positive behavior support strategies
  • Strong munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt approaches to meet individual student needs
