As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Site Patrol in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a chemical or petrochemical location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while fostering a welcoming environment. This position requires driving responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to interact with different areas of the site and contribute to a secure atmosphere through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $14.75 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor for and report any irregularities, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the location.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters as needed.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points at the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in accordance with site and Allied Universal protocols.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possession of a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
