This facility is a well-established hospital with a comprehensive oncology department serving the Worcester community. The center provides high-quality cancer care with a multidisciplinary approach, featuring modern treatment technologies and a supportive team environment.

Opportunity :

Board Certified - Oncology-Hematology

Job Details :

6-12 month commitment starting January, with ability to work at least 3-4 days per week

Monday through Friday clinic schedule (3-5 days per week) with clinic call responsibilities

Outpatient clinic setting seeing 15-18 patients per day

Inpatient rounding required on approximately 5 patients, taking about 1 hour

On-call responsibilities via beeper with approximately 10 calls during on-call periods

Call-backs to hospital are rare

EMR systems : Onco EMR (clinic) and Cerner (hospital)

Must be board certified in Oncology-Hematology

Active Massachusetts medical license required (preferred with clean record)

Temporary privileges available for physicians with clean records

Credentialing timeframe : approximately 8 weeks with clean record (90 days with issues)

Will work with an NP in the practice (no supervision required)

No teaching or resident supervision responsibilities

No surgical procedures required

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
