Senior Paid Search Manager

Location : Chicago, IL – Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days work from home)

Scale Marketing is looking for a Paid Search Manager to take ownership of planning, building, executing, and optimizing paid search campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll collaborate with leadership, analytics, and creative teams to deliver ROI-driven results. You’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy across multiple media channels, lead a growing team, and work with some of the most respected brands in their industries.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the paid search thought leader for top-tier clients.
• Develop and execute PPC strategies that surpass KPIs and drive ROI / ROAS.
• Manage campaigns end-to-end—planning, bidding, optimization, and reporting.
• Analyze performance daily and deliver actionable insights to clients and teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on media mix modeling and campaign integration.
• Build strong client relationships and uncover new growth opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of paid search experience (agency experience)

Google & Bing expertise / certifications required; Amazon Ads a plus.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and statistical modeling.

Experience with tags / pixels and Google Tag Manager.

Skilled communicator with polished client presentation abilities.

Proactive problem solver with a startup mindset.

Knowledge of DSPs and social buying platforms a plus.
