A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator, Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely completion of credentialing applications by assisting applicants with required documentation
Maintain an accurate physician database and perform file audits to provide feedback on credentialing files
Communicate with applicants and relevant stakeholders to fulfill credentialing requirements within specified timeframes
Required Qualifications
Two years of post-high school education, training, or experience; associate degree in health administration preferred
One year of work experience in a healthcare environment with knowledge of hospital settings and managed care organizations
Understanding of NCQA and TJC standards, NPDB guidelines, and general licensing regulations
Experience with database management and proficiency in Windows-based software
CPCS and / or CPMSM eligibility preferred but not required
