Accountant I

The Accountant I will be responsible for computing, preparing, and reviewing general ledger accounts, journal entries and various spreadsheets. Responsibilities will include maintaining the financial documents with company accounts such as accounts receivable. This person would work on month end transactions provide support for the computing and preparing of data for journal entries and general ledger. Responsibilities also include confirming trade confirmations, loan sales, and principal reductions.

What You Will Be Doing

• General Ledger analysis
• Accounts Receivable
• Accumulates and analyzes information for the preparation of financial statements, ledgers and reports
• Daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliations and journal entries
• Verifies accuracy and makes recommendations for corrections
• Insures the compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP and FASB
• Confirming Trade confirmations
• Daily and monthly reconciliation of warehouse banks
