Description
Phoenix Systems is growing and we are looking for an experienced Business-to-Business and Business-to-Customer Outside Sales Consultant to join our amazing team. This position will be responsible for hunting new business in the residential, custom, and commercial spaces. The Outside Sales Consultant will leverage his / her sales experience by using a consultative sales approach to partner with builders and end-user customers, build relationships, grow profitable sales, and develop new business. This role is essential for managing and cultivating new and existing relationships between Phoenix Systems and home builders.
Responsibilities
- Sell security, home automation & monitoring solutions
- Acquire new customers via company-provided leads and prospect new security clients
- Travel locally within the assigned territory to represent the company and achieve assigned sales goals
- Prepare and present professional sales presentations to prospective clients
- Write contracts for customer orders
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries
- Maintain high level of product knowledge, including current product features, market and industry trends, and industry services
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably as a hunterExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)Self-starter, driven, goal-oriented, and able to work under pressureMust clear background check, MVR, and drug screeningHigh school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferredOther Skills / Abilities
Home builder industry experience preferredPrior low voltage experience preferredPrior alarm security sales experience preferredProspecting, persuasion, negotiation, and closing skillsHigh degree of initiative and self-motivationPhysical Requirements
