AVAILABLE SHIFTS :

8 : 00a-4 : 30p or 8 : 30a-5 : 00p, Mon-Friday

This role entails critical responsibilities in patient care, particularly through the processes of embedding and preparing slides for routine Hematoxylin and Eosin (H & E) and special stain procedures. You will perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance and be adept at recognizing when troubleshooting is necessary for processing, embedding, cutting, and staining.

Working in a fast-paced laboratory environment with exposure to biological and chemical hazards, you will champion safety, compliance, and quality control. To be successful in this role, you need to meet the following qualifications :

Qualifications :

Education :

Graduation from a school of Histotechnology accredited by CAHEA / NAACLS.

• HT (ASCP) certification.

Experience :

At least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in performing high complexity testing.

Certification :

Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent certifying body.

Skills :

Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
