ICU Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Nashville, Tennessee (37207) – Tennessee nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : ICU (NVICU), 16-bed unit Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) assignment Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00AM – 7 : 00PM) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule Self-Scheduling : Available with manager support Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470 - $1570 ICU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Proficiency with ICU equipment : ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000 Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system preferred Ability to float to med / surg units as needed Strong professionalism and commitment to compassionate patient care Navy scrubs required ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients and their families in the ICU Monitor and manage patient conditions, including operation of ventilators and advanced life support equipment Perform advanced nursing procedures : central line and arterial line insertions, lumbar punctures, chest tube and EVD insertions Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care using Meditech Float to medical-surgical units as required to support hospital staffing needs Participate in self-scheduling and meet weekend shift requirements Experience the excitement of Nashville while making a difference as an ICU Registered Nurse.
