Position Summary :
The Team Member role within our manufacturing plants supports our overall production team as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards.
What you will Do :
Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP / PPE / Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
Understand Production Schedules and key production data (i.e : lot numbers, SKU’s, etc.) and Ability to understand current production flow and product specifications
Ability to recognize inconsistencies per product specifications (i.e : Foreign objects, miss-labeling, etc.)
Remove any defects from the produce that are undesirable in the finished product
Must execute de-coring / trimming / chopping / mixing based on product specifications
Knowledge & understanding of how to maintain a safe work environment
Validate that printed labels accurately reflect production work orders
Works safely around moving equipment & conveyors in wet environment
Maintain an uninterrupted flow of packaging and sorting finished goods
Clean and trim vegetables per Quality Control development specifications
Operate shrink wrap machine (manual / automated) and Operate a hand pallet jack, Manual palletization of finished goods and Manually pack finished goods
Communicate verbally & in writing
Maintain a clean work area
Perform other duties as assigned.
