Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Wound / Ostomy Care travel assignment requiring recent Med / Surg experience and active BLS certification.

Job Details

Position is based in a hospital setting with a focus on wound and ostomy care,
12-hour shifts from 9 : 00 AM to 9 : 30 PM,
36 hours per week, with both travel and local candidates eligible for the same rate,

Job Requirements

Active RN license in the state of assignment,

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

Graduation from an accredited nursing program,

At least 1 year of full-time wound / ostomy care experience within the last 3 years,

Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field preferred,

CWOCN or CWCN certification preferred,

Additional Information

Must provide two professional references for consideration,

COVID vaccination is required,

No minimum distance radius rule applies; local and travel rates are identical,

A minimum 6 months must have passed since any previous permanent employment with the health system,

Assignment extensions are permitted, with a maximum duration of 12 months to avoid tax issues,
