Job Overview

This leader is a key contributor to the organization's vision for maintaining a robust credit risk framework, balancing innovation with regulatory expectations, and ensuring operational resilience. The individual will serve as a strategic partner to senior business and technology leaders, providing oversight for multi-million-dollar investments that impact credit risk management capabilities and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Program Leadership : Own and drive the long-term technology roadmap for credit risk, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and emerging technology trends.
• Portfolio and Investment Governance : Lead the governance of all credit risk technology investments, ensuring a disciplined approach to managing project prioritization, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Regulatory and Consent Order Management : Ensure that all technology investments and programs comply with regulatory requirements, including those associated with Consent Orders and other regulatory mandates.
• Team Leadership and Alignment : Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of program and project managers responsible for delivering credit risk technology changes.
• Technology & Risk Alignment : Collaborate closely with the Credit Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure that technology investments support the broader credit risk management strategy and operational goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication : Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders, technology teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment across the organization.
• Risk & Compliance Focus : Ensure that all credit risk technology programs are aligned with the organization's risk appetite, regulatory framework, and operational goals.

Educational Background

Experience & Leadership

15+ years of experience in program management, with a strong focus on credit risk, technology, and regulatory compliance in financial services.

Deep understanding of credit risk management principles, regulatory requirements (including Consent Orders), and technology solutions that support credit risk functions.

Strong technical knowledge of credit risk technology solutions, including data management, rules engines, and systems integration.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with senior executives and external regulatory bodies.

Highly analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuously improve program outcomes.
