Main Responsibilities :
Deliver training in simulated RAP, DMO, LSB, and Distributed Live Control tactical and basic mission events. Provide instruction for aircrew upgrade training and support academic simulator training.Create and manage realistic scenarios to support RAP / DMO / LSB tactical mission events training, Distributed Live Control events, and aircrew basic skills mission training.Maintain daily logs of simulator utilization and provide updates on each aircrew member's completion of simulator missions and academic training to local training officer unit representatives.Operate the Mission Training Center (MTC) / Unit Training Device (UTD) / Weapons and Tactics Advanced Sustainment Program (WASP) / Weapons and Tactics Trainer (WTT) consoles to support Air Force and Joint RAP / DMO / LSB battlefield tactical event exercises, Distributed Live Control events, and basic mission skills training. Serve as event manager for Air Force and Joint RAP / DMO / LSB battlefield tactical exercise and Distributed Live Control events.Carry out administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, monitoring student progress, ensuring quality assurance and safety standards, and maintaining training programs and equipment.Maintain proficiency in operating essential F-16 series Aircrew Training Devices.Possess prior aircraft operating experience and the ability to establish and maintain credibility with customer trainees.Meet minimum AFI 11-2E-3 specific requirements, have knowledge of current tactics and employment standards, and be physically qualified to fly the simulator as a Flight Member.Prepare required reports for management.Physical Demands : Normal office environment physical requirements. Must be physically capable of entering and exiting the simulator. Must be able to stand and conduct academic instruction in classrooms for up to six hours each day.Requirements :
Must be a US citizen and have proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Basic Microsoft Office skills are required. Must meet Personnel Security Requirements.Security Requirements :
Must have operational flight experience within the past 3 years as an instructor on the applicable system or performing similar aircraft simulator instructor duties within the past 3 years.Minimum qualifications include 1000 hours of fighter aircraft time and one of the following :
500 hours in F-16 series aircraft200 instructor hours in any fighter (K Prefix)
Must be able to perform AF Form 8 Certified Instructor duties in the weapon system MTC using current tactics and employment standards.Must be capable of operating the simulator as a 2 or 4-ship flight lead using current tactics and employment standards.
Completion of the Air Combat Command Classroom Instructor Course or MAJCOM equivalent at any time prior to employment or within six months of employment.Must maintain ground training currency (IRC, CRM, and be physically qualified to perform these duties.
Minimum Secret / SAP Clearance is required, Top Secret / SAP clearance is highly desired.Experience with Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Training is desired.Position Type : Full-time
