Job Description

CDL A Truck Drivers – South Central Regional (New Orleans, LA)

At Imacc Logistics , we know drivers are looking for more than empty promises. You want steady freight, real pay, and home time that actually happens. For drivers within 100 miles of New Orleans (70112), we've built a regional lane that delivers just that.

The Pay

Drivers earn up to $0.68 CPM depending on CDL experience, with solo averages between $1,250 and $1,550 weekly. Most runs fall between 300 and 500 miles daily, stacking up to 2,500+ miles each week. Detention and layover are always paid because your time off the road matters just as much as the miles you run. If you're new to trucking, you'll start with paid training at $600–$800 weekly for 30–45 days before moving into solo pay.

The Work

This is regional trucking , covering the South Central states - Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Kentucky. Freight is dry van, mostly no-touch, with plenty of drop-and-hook to keep you moving. You'll stay in your region while on the road, so you can count on consistency without endless coast-to-coast chaos.

Home Time

Experienced drivers with at least 90 days of OTR or regional experience are usually out five to seven days before heading home for a full two-day reset each week. New CDL drivers and recent graduates typically stay out a little longer - nine to twelve days - before enjoying a two-day reset every other week. That extra time gives rookies the chance to build confidence, learn the lanes, and keep their miles strong while they're still learning the ropes.

The Extras That Matter

Our trucks are newer models, and many are equipped with APUs. You won't have to ride alone if you don't want to - we have a pet-friendly and rider policy so family or a four-legged co-pilot can join you on the road. After just 60 days, drivers are eligible for full benefits including medical, dental, and vision.

What to Expect

Roughly 60% of this lane runs at night. That means less traffic, smoother trips, and steadier schedules. Your day - or night - starts with a pre-trip inspection, then it's all about safe driving, DOT-compliant logs, and professional deliveries. At Imacc , you'll run with dispatchers who know how to keep loads consistent and respect your time.

Why This Lane Works

For new drivers , this is one of the best ways to break in : paid training, steady miles, and a supportive environment where mistakes are part of the process, not deal breakers. For experienced drivers , it's the higher CPM, weekly resets, and strong regional freight that make the difference. And if you're a team driver , the CPM and bonuses climb even higher.

Trucking is a career built on consistency. Apply today and join Imacc Logistics, where you get paid for your miles, respected for your time, and supported to grow.
