Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a Diet Technician or Certified Dietary Manager position.

Location : Croasdaile Village - Durham, NC

Setting : Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)

Schedule : Part time, 24 hours per week; Thursday, Friday and either Tuesday or Wednesday, but can be flexible

Requirement : Credentialed as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Diet Technician or Certified Dietary Manager (Part-Time) to join our Nutrition Team in senior living in Durham, NC.

We are an 800+ residents nonprofit faith based Life Plan Community nestled in the heart of Durham, North Carolina. Key Responsibilities :

Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning

Assists patients in completing menu selections

Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual

Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies

Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable

Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications :

Credentialed as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR), required

One (1) year of senior living experience, preferred

Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
