Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related issues, documenting findings and communicating with appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, and supporting the management of visitor and contractor access. Work closely with property management and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for tenants and guests. Maintain awareness of surroundings within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other unwanted activities. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - CRE Unarmed Patrol
As a Security Officer - CRE Unarmed Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure setting for tenants and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter potential security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication.
