L2 DevOps Engineer

Job Title : L2 DevOps Engineer Location : Denver,CO Work Arrangement : 5days in Office (Onsite ) Client Industry : Banking Duration : 12 -18 months Contract Schedule : Monday to Friday About the Role We are hiring a strong L2 DevOps Engineer Roles & Responsibilities : Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues Research, plan, install, configure, and maintain systems and applications Troubleshoot infrastructure and perform root-cause analysis Support application deployments and production operations Monitor system performance and security Participate in Agile ceremonies and project work Automate tasks using scripting and CI / CD tools Stay current with emerging technologies, especially in AI and DevOps Must Haves : Experience with Generative AI Knowledge of emerging database technologies for AI applications Strong Linux Systems Admin / Engineer skills troubleshooting, root-cause analysis Experience in large enterprise infrastructure support Windows servers and IIS experience Familiarity with MS-SQL, Oracle Understanding of encryption HSM, SSL Great communication Additional Skills : Knowledge of emerging database technologies for AI applications Familiarity with containerization (OpenShift, Docker) Strong scripting skills (VB, Perl, Python, PowerShell, BASH) Experience with patching servers and hosted apps Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, SMTP, SNMP, DNS) Hands-on with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Git, JIRA, Confluence) Experience with centralized logging tools (Splunk) Hourly Rate : 60$-65$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
