Job Brief

We are looking for a Technical Architect to design the structure of our IT systems and oversee programs to ensure the proper architecture is implemented. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex requirements into functional architecture. We’d also like you to have hands-on experience on software development and be able to manage complex programs.

Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end SAP technical architecture, including on-premise and cloud landscapes (SAP S / 4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori).

Lead SAP system installations, upgrades, OS / DB migrations, and performance tuning activities.

Define and maintain technical blueprints for SAP implementations, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into robust SAP technical solutions.

Oversee integration strategies using SAP PI / PO, APIs, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.

Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for SAP environments.

Conduct technical reviews, troubleshoot complex SAP issues, and provide expert guidance during build and production phases.

Optimize SAP system performance through proactive monitoring and tuning.

Implement SAP security standards, governance, and compliance measures across all environments.

Stay current with emerging SAP technologies and recommend adoption strategies for innovation and efficiency.

Requirements and Skills

Hands-on experience with software development and system administration

Understanding of strategic IT solutions

Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA)

Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. JavaScript, Java)

Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. MySQL)

Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. VMware)

BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Preferred Experience

5-10 years or more of experience in IT and SAP systems, building up from a functional or technical consultant role.

Extensive experience in SAP architecture and implementation

Knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA migration and integration strategies

Experience with SAP cloud solutions and SAP Fiori

Certifications

SAP Certified Technology Professional

SAP Certified Development Specialist

TOGAF Certification
