The Restaurant Manager oversees daily front-of-house operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role focused on leadership, service excellence, and maintaining Bettolino Kitchen’s standards of quality, professionalism, and warmth. The Manager works closely with ownership, the kitchen team, and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and a consistently high level of service.
Compensation:$70,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives warm, attentive, and consistent service
- Address and resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and polished dining room
- Oversee reservations, waitlists, and table flow during service
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house staff
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching team members
- Set clear expectations for service standards, appearance, and conduct
- Step in as needed during service to support the team
Daily Operations
- Open and/or close the restaurant as scheduled
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels for each shift
- Monitor service pacing and communication between FOH and BOH
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards
Administrative & Business Support
- Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and labor management
- Handle cash, tips, and end-of-day reports as needed
- Support private dining events, large parties, and special services
- Communicate operational needs and feedback to ownership
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant management experience or strong lead server experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong multitasking skills
- Passion for hospitality and guest service
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- OpenTable experience
- Toast POS experience a plus
