Job Summary :

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Substitute Teacher to join our team to help cover staff lunches! This position is for 10 a.m. - 2 : 30 p.m., Monday - Friday. More hours could be available for those interested. As a Substitute Teacher, you will teach classes using the curriculum provided by the school on a temporary or long-term basis. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and highly organized!

Responsibilities :

• Follow lesson plans left by the teacher
• Prepare any necessary learning materials
• Assign homework
• Take attendance
• Grade assignments and provide feedback
• Track students progress and document for the regular classroom teacher
• Report behavioral incidents

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a substitute teacher is preferred
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
