Williamson County Treasurer's Office Position
Reporting directly to the First Assistant Treasurer, responsible for performing financial and administrative duties to support the activities of the Williamson County Treasurer's office.
Examples of work performed include :
- Serving as the daily backup for accounts receivables data entry, credit card and E-filing revenue bank deposit reconciliations
- Processing and verifying all deposit documentation, including reconciling discrepancies
- Creating and maintaining various related reports
- Processing all insufficient fund checks
- Reviewing ACH Receive Report and requesting ACH deposits
- Communicating with other departments to resolve currency problems and fund reports
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Cross training and serving as back-up to other Specialist
- Attending all meetings and trainings, as required
- Performing special duties as assigned
Revenue Assignment includes :
Processing each department (Fee Office) deposit bag : Date Stamp, assigns Revenue #, counts and compares cash and check totals to individual revenue reports, and prepares deposit for presentation to the CourierCompleting and processing Treasurer's funds, checks and money order ordersEntering Checks via Remote Scanner into the DepositoryInputs all revenue reports into applicable system OracleFinancial Assignment includes :
Providing customer service and clerical support by answering a multi-line telephone and assisting at front counterProcessing, distributing, and delivering all accounts payable (AP) checksManaging Bail Bond documentation and meeting materialsOrganization relationships :
