In Home Youth and Family Therapist / Trauma Specialty with enhanced Training

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are currently hiring an Intensive Home Based (IHBT) Therapist to provide intensive home based therapeutic work with families who have significant needs in a variety of domains and who are in need of significant supports to maintain their ability to remain in their homes and with their families. In this role, you would receive specialized certifications in trauma modalities. As the IHBT Therapist, your schedule will offer great flexibility, and does include a need for evening or weekend hours in order to provide services to families when they are available. The IHBT therapist will provide individual and family therapy with a special focus on trauma work as well as provide care coordination with any other systems or agencies involved in the family's care.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

• Intensive therapeutic and trauma focused services to families in their homes or in the community.
• Completion of psychiatric diagnostic assessment and treatment planning.
• Being mobile and flexible with time in order to meet with clients and their families for 3-5 hours per week.
• Carry an average caseload of up to 6 clients / families at a time.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
• Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client's treatment according to HIPPA guidelines. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.

QUALIFICATIONS :

EXPERIENCE :

Experience in working with children, adolescents and their families. Demonstrated clinical experience in chemical dependency treatment.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency's insurance company. Must be approved by Bellefaire to transport clients in own vehicle.
