Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shifts

Guaranteed Hours : 48 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1950–$2090 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NY RN license preferred for New York healthcare jobs)

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Ability to serve as charge nurse as needed

Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Med / Surg Acute Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Serve as charge nurse when required, offering leadership and support to the nursing staff

Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
