Responsibilities :
Patient Care & Treatment Implementation : Assist in delivering tailored therapy based on individualized treatment plans crafted by the Occupational Therapist, including activities to enhance daily living skills (e.g., dressing, eating, mobility).Progress Monitoring & Documentation : Accurately track and document patient progress in adherence with facility policies, reporting any changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.Collaboration & Patient Education : Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (e.g., PT, OT, nursing) to provide holistic care, educating patients and families about therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and strategies for independence.Therapeutic Activities & Support : Lead or assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living while fostering a positive and encouraging environment for patient engagement.Qualifications :
Education : Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.Certification : Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).Licensure : Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.Experience : While previous experience in an occupational therapy setting (hospital, clinic, school, etc.) is preferred, we also encourage new graduates to apply.HealthPro Heritage and its subsidiaries are committed to providing equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
