Position : Android Bluetooth Developer (iAP2)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Android Bluetooth Developer with hands-on expertise in iAP2 (iPod Accessory Protocol 2) integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Bluetooth connectivity features on Android devices. with a focus on seamless accessory integration and robust communication protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Bluetooth communication features on Android. including Classic Bluetooth and BLE,
- Integrate and maintain iAP2 protocol support for accessory connectivity (e.g., automotive. audio, and smart devices).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, hardware, QA, product) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Debug, profile, and optimize Bluetooth stack performance and reliability :
- Develop and maintain automated tests for Bluetooth / iAP2 features
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android Bluetooth APIs and industry's best practices
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.10+ years of experience in Android application or system developmentStrong proficiency in Java and / or KotlinDeep understanding of Android Bluetooth stack (Classic and BLE)Proven experience implementing or integrating iAP2 protocol on Android.Familiarity with Bluetooth profiles (A2DP HFP. AVRCP. etc.)Experience with debugging tools (e.g., Wireshark, Bluetooth sniffers, Android Studio).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills,Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with automotive or consumer electronics accessories.Familiarity with Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) and system-level development.Knowledge of USB, MFi (Made for Phone / iPad), or other accessory protocols.Contributions to open-source Bluetooth or connectivity projectsExperience with cross-platform Bluetooth development (iOS, embedded, etc.)Sample Responsibilities in Practice
