Pediatric Emergency Room RN Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland

At least 1 year of RN experience (Emergency Room or Pediatric nursing preferred)

BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the Emergency Department

Perform rapid assessments and triage for incoming pediatric patients

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by healthcare providers

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals

Educate and support pediatric patients and their families throughout the ED experience

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards
