Database Administrator

Database Admin (DB2 / Postgres / SQL Server)

• Architect, deploy, and maintain SQL / Postgres / DB2 databases across production and development environments
• Design, implement and document new solutions utilizing best practice technologies
• Act as a point of escalation for incidents / changes / requests
• Manage SQL / PostGres / DB2 Server databases
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes
• Monitor system's health and performance
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
• Understand the DB related issues and help them resolved
• Communicate with LOB and design and implement the solution, as required
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
• Provide suggestions for solutions
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Provide support for critical production systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
• Associate or Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 24 years of experience in desktop support or engineering.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Windows server experience a plus

Salary Range- $80,000-$85,000 a year
