Job Title : Financial Services Representative Job Description :

Summary :

The Financial Services Representative is the friendly face of our bank, responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Your key responsibilities will include :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist customers in opening new accounts for both commercial and consumer clients, providing tailored recommendations based on their needs.
  • Perform all teller duties, including client transactions and cash drawer management, while ensuring compliance with dual control procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve company objectives and personal goals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service for lobby and phone inquiries, acting as a liaison between clients and other bank departments.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Help with branch opening and closing procedures, adhering to corporate security guidelines.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations diligently.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities, with a knack for cross-selling products.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client transactions and bank records.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment, including computers and calculators.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank operations, products, and services.
  • Familiarity with banking laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

  • Education and Experience :

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in a business-related field or two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a goal-oriented environment is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is required.
  • Computer and Software Skills :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiar with Google Suite, IBS, and Salesforce.
  • Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations :

  • Notary License as required by the branch.
