Senior - Water Resource Engineer - Transportation

Pennoni is hiring! This individual will support transportation projects by performing a wide range of water resources related tasks. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater, drainage and erosion and sediment control design, flood studies, bridge hydraulics and scour analysis and plan and report preparation. This individual will have the opportunity to work in one of Pennoni's most successful design hubs in the Newark, DE office.

Our Transportation Team serves Transportation Agencies and Municipalities in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Private land developers, Corporations and beyond.

Job Responsibilities :

Pennoni Associates is currently seeking an Water Resources Engineer with the following job responsibilities :

• Engineer will support H&H, ES&C, drainage and SWM tasks associated with bridge replacement and highway improvement projects for multiple clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region with a focus in Delaware and the surrounding states.
• Engineer will interact with clients regarding technical challenges with opportunities to perform project management if desired.
• Engineer will develop plans, technical reports and specifications.
• This position will offer diversified projects and assignments with different clients.

Required Attributes

Computer Skills Required :

Microstation ORD, ArcGIS, HY-8, HEC-RAS, Storm and SewerCAD, WinTR-55, WinTR-20, HydroCAD, SMS / SRH2D.
