Overview

Senior Developer (JAVA / J2EE) Torrance, CA Onsite, 4+ days / week. Contract length unspecified. Competitive pay. Minimum 4 days onsite, travel 1?2 / year, overtime occasional. Benefits : Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K.

Responsibilities

• 3?5 years developing large?scale enterprise applications & backend systems.
• Strong experience in Java / J2EE and related open?source frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate).
• Basic experience with public cloud providers (particularly AWS).
• Proficient in Microservices / backend development and building enterprise integration solutions with various application servers & messaging systems (JBoss / WebSphere, Kafka, Red Hat AMQ, JMS).
• Familiar with containerized app deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift) and server?less architecture.
• Possess knowledge in database systems RDMS, RDS, NoSQL, DynamoDB.
• Strong knowledge of object?oriented design, design patterns, current IT trends, modern technology landscape, architecture principles, and advanced development techniques.
• Agile practices and development methodology expertise.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
