As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact in a vibrant retail and mall environment. Your role will focus on monitoring entry points, greeting guests with professionalism, and providing exceptional customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and communication skills, while assisting visitors and tenants with their needs. Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeWed02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and / or identification of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any security-related incidents at the front desk.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and management to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and / or disruptive behavior through a visible, professional presence at the front desk.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
