American Traveler is seeking a travel Home Health Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Yakima, Washington.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a home health setting, requiring at least one year of experience and a current OT license if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a home health environment with a diverse adult patient population
  • Typical diagnoses include neurological, cardiopulmonary, orthopedic conditions, diabetes, and general deconditioning
  • 1 : 1 patient visits with an average of five visits per 8-hour day
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm with flexible shifts
  • Clinicians utilize a laptop and phone with cellular data for documentation and communication
  • First-time travelers will be considered for the right candidate
  • Tiered onboarding process with one-on-one mentoring from a fellow OT
  • Support available from a rehab supervisor, home health manager, and scheduler
  • Up to 7 days request for time off (RTO) allowed if not around holidays
  • No weekend, on-call, or holiday coverage required
  • Dress code is flexible; scrubs or business casual attire are acceptable
  • Parking arrangements vary depending on the patient location

    • Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 1 year home health or relevant OT experience
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Ability to independently evaluate and administer therapeutic procedures
  • References must include at least one supervisor; a second reference required prior to start
