Work Hours : - First Shift (06 : 00 AM - 02 : 20 PM Mon- Fri) Job Description : - PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the internal audit function for the quality system. Use the internal audit system to drive continuous improvement. Manage the documentation change management system. Participate in cross functional teams to develop of PFMEAs, control plans and work instructions, utilizing risk assessments to ensure process controls deliver continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Perform MSA and capability studies of new and current gages and equipment. Address quality rejects including customer-returned material. Assist and coach others in the use of statistical techniques. Assist with process improvements and data analysis. Conduct process capability studies and quality audits. Conduct and participate in customer visits and reviews. Other duties as required. Skills Required : - Experience with FMEAs, Process Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions. Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong project management skills and leadership abilities Proficient in the use of Minitab or other statistical analysis programs Proficient in the understanding of Engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications Proficient in understanding of APQP and program management techniques. Typical Experience Required / : Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical engineering, with 2-5 years of experience required. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, with experience in the automotive industry . Demonstrated competence in Quality related statistics. Certified Quality Auditor for IATF-16949 or attained within one year of hire / placement. Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.
