Where You’ll Work :

IT Operations / Information & Technology

About the Role :

This individual is responsible for overseeing the daily delivery and health of core infrastructure, endpoint support, networking, and technology services. This role ensures stability and performance across cloud platforms, endpoint management systems, AV, cybersecurity tools, and IT operations processes. This individual leads the service desk team and plays a key role in developing escalation procedures, managing service requests, and coordinating with third-party vendors (MSPs).

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who brings both technical depth and strong team coaching experience to modernize and stabilize technology operations.

What You’ll Do :

Lead Technical Operations & Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Azure AD, Microsoft 365), endpoint configuration, and patching tools
  • Manage desktop engineering, AV systems, printers, MDM, and network performance
  • Maintain continuity of essential platforms such as SSO, VPN, DNS, backups, wireless networks, and SaaS applications
  • Implement security best practices in areas like endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), and configuration baselines
  • Supervise ticket triage, incident response, and escalation processes to ensure smooth IT service delivery
  • Act as primary technical liaison to MSPs and infrastructure vendors, coordinating health checks, escalations, SLAs, and reporting
  • Review and approve operational contracts and tool renewals in coordination with procurement

Oversee IT Support, Service Desk & Cybersecurity Readiness

  • Manage Tier 1 service desk staff and oversee support escalations to ensure exceptional end-user experiences
  • Refine ITSM processes, improve ticketing workflows, and maintain internal knowledge base documentation
  • Analyze ticket trends, drive root cause analysis, and implement improvements for recurring issues
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity partners or internal teams to maintain compliance, asset visibility, and incident response procedures
  • Coordinate deployment and operation of cybersecurity tools such as EDR, email security, and vulnerability scanners
  • Ensure readiness for audits and alignment with cyber insurance requirements
  • Lead & Develop a High-Performing IT Team

  • Mentor and manage a team of IT professionals and contractors, ensuring clear accountability and performance standards
  • Foster a user-centric culture focused on empathy, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Support professional development through hands-on coaching and training in areas like scripting, modern desktop management, cloud technologies, and network automation
  • Establish team goals, encourage innovation, and drive cross-functional collaboration across the organization

    What You’ll Need : Skills your resume should demonstrate :

  • Hands on experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, or systems administration
  • Experience supervising or team lead role managing desktop support, service desk, or IT technicians
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, Intune / Endpoint Manager, Azure AD, Windows Server, and PowerShell scripting
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice, ServiceNow) and ITSM frameworks (ITIL or equivalent)
  • Experience with networking fundamentals (firewalls, switches, VLANs, wireless access points)
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, endpoint security platforms, and asset management
  • Proven ability to triage complex support issues and implement long-term operational fixes
  • Experience coordinating with MSPs or third-party vendors and holding them accountable to SLAs
  • Working knowledge of backup solutions, AV equipment support, and print server administration
