ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Testing and Verification : Performing functional tests on electronic products using specialized equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) to verify functionality and meet specifications.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance : Operating and maintaining test equipment, including calibration and repair.
• Test Planning and Execution : Assist with the planning, scheduling, and execution of tests to validate products. This includes partnering with internal and external resources to execute test plans.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging : Identifying and resolving issues with electronic components and circuits, potentially involving soldering and rework.
• Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, Procurement, Product Management, and Quality Assurance, to ensure project and manufacturing needs are met.
• Test System Support : Maintain and repair wiring and harnesses used in manufacturing and validation testing. Assist in creation and documentation of wiring in new systems and test setups.
• Continuous Improvement : Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test processes, methodologies, and equipment.
• Compliance : Ensure all test strategies and equipment comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The position is primarily an office-based position with regular visits to the plant floor. The employee occasionally performs work-related travel.
