Sales Consultant
Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading provider of live production, broadcast operations, and managed services for networks, media companies, and enterprise clients. Our Master Control and Playout Solutions provide 24 / 7 channel origination, content distribution, and live event integration for clients worldwide, powered by the BMG Cloud Control Center.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to drive new business growth for BMG's Master Control and Playout solutions. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy targeting broadcasters, streaming platforms, sports leagues, media companies, and corporate clients. The Sales Consultant will leverage their industry network, technical understanding of broadcast operations, and consultative sales skills to secure long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Revenue Growth
Identify, target, and secure new business for BMG's Master Control and Playout services along with transmission services.
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline across broadcast, OTT, sports, and enterprise sectors.Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strategic relationships with decision-makers, including CTOs, Heads of Operations, and Content Distribution Executives.
Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding each client's technical requirements and operational goals.Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop sales strategies and market penetration plans in collaboration with executive leadership.
Create tailored proposals and present BMG's capabilities to prospective clients.Negotiate contracts and manage the sales process from initial contact to close.Market & Industry EngagementRepresent BMG at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in master control and playout.Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 710 years of sales experience in broadcast, media technology, or managed playout services.Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of broadcast operations, channel origination, signal routing, content delivery, and OTT / streaming workflows.Network : Established relationships within media companies, broadcasters, sports organizations, and content distributors.Skills :Proven track record of meeting / exceeding revenue targets.
